Geek Technologies LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a service-based digital solutions company. This Refund & Return Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and service adjustments may be requested.
By purchasing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
1. Nature of Services
Geek Technologies LLC provides digital and professional services, including but not limited to:
- Website design and development
- Website fixes, maintenance, and optimization
- Custom software or development work
- Technical consulting and support services
- Hourly-based or plan-based service engagements
We do not sell physical goods and therefore do not offer returns in the traditional sense.
2. Service-Based Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital and time-based services:
- Refunds are not guaranteed once work has started
- Time spent, resources allocated, and work delivered are considered billable and non-reversible
However, we strive for fairness and transparency and evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis, as outlined below.
3. Eligibility for Refund Requests
You may be eligible to request a refund under the following conditions:
a. No Work Started
If you request a cancellation before any work has begun, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, minus any administrative or processing fees.
b. Unused Service Hours
If you purchased a service plan or hours bundle and have not used all allocated hours, unused hours may be:
- Refunded partially, or
- Converted into future service credits
This determination is made at our discretion.
c. Failure to Deliver Agreed Scope
If Geek Technologies LLC is unable to deliver the agreed-upon scope of services due to internal limitations, you may be eligible for a partial refund for the undelivered portion.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Work has already started or been completed
- Dissatisfaction based on subjective preferences (design taste, aesthetic choices, etc.)
- Delays caused by the client’s lack of response, missing information, or delayed approvals
- Change of mind after project initiation
- Custom work that has already been delivered or partially delivered
- Services completed within the agreed scope
5. Hourly Services & Overages
For hourly-based services:
- Clients are billed for actual hours worked
- If additional hours are required beyond the initially purchased amount, clients may be billed after service completion
- Overused hours are non-refundable
- Time tracking records may be maintained internally for transparency
6. Subscription & Ongoing Services
For recurring or subscription-based services:
- Cancellations must be requested before the next billing cycle
- Charges already processed for an active billing period are non-refundable
- Services will remain active until the end of the paid billing cycle unless otherwise stated
7. Revision & Rework Policy (No Refund)
Refunds are not a replacement for revisions.
If a client is unsatisfied:
- Reasonable revisions within the original scope will be offered
- Rework requests outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges
- Refunds will not be issued when revision options are available and declined
8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
We encourage clients to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback.
- Unauthorized or unjustified chargebacks may result in service suspension
- Supporting documentation (emails, work logs, deliverables) may be submitted to payment processors
- Repeated disputes may lead to permanent service termination
9. Processing Time for Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed through the original payment method
- Processing time may take 5–10 business days, depending on the payment provider
- Transaction or processing fees may be deducted where applicable
10. Policy Modifications
Geek Technologies LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Return Policy at any time.
Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website.
